LINCOLN, LES MIS and LIFE OF PI Lead BAFTA Nominations

Here at Film Geek Central, neither Austin, Jesse or myself thought much of LINCOLN. Still, that hasn’t stopped it from appearing on lots of ten best lists and racking up tons of awards. Now comes word that the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has given the Steven Speilberg film ten nominations for its annual awards ceremony.

Tom Hooper’s LES MISERABLES and Ang Lee’s LIFE OF PI are close behind with nine nominations each. The 007 film SKYFALL, already the most successful British film in history, received eight noms.
